(Es ist Montag Nachmittag. Michael sitzt an einem Tisch in der CC Mensa. Stefanie kommt. Sie trägt einen sehr großen Rucksack.)		It’s Monday afternoon. Michael sits at a table at the CC Cafeteria. She wears a very large backpack.
Stefanie:	Entschuldigung, ist hier frei?	Excuse me, is (the table) here free?
Michael:	Ja, sicher.	Yes, certainly.
Stefanie:	Danke.	Thank you.
Michael:	Deine Tasche ist so schwer. Stell1 sie doch auf den Boden. Sag mal2, kenne3 ich dich eigentlich schon4?	Your bag is so heavy. Put it on the floor. Oh, do I really know you?
Stefanie:	Ja, ich glaube schon. Bist du nicht in Lones Deutschkurs?	Yes, I think so. Aren’t you in Lones German course?
Michael:	Na, klar5! Jetzt weiß ich es wieder! Du heißt Stefanie, nicht wahr6!	Yes, of course! Now I know it too! You are Stefanie, am I right?
Sefanie:	Ja, ich bin Stefanie! Toll, dass du mich scho kennst! Und...du bist...Michael, richtig7?	Yes, I am Stefanie! It’s great that you know me! And… you are… Michael, right?

Marie:	Wie findet ihr eigentlich den Deutschkurs?	What do you actually think about the German Course?
Stefanie:	Also, ich finde ihn ein bißchen schwerig8, aber ich spreche gern Deutsch.	So, I find it a bit difficult, but I like speaking German.
Michael:	Ja, besonders9 die Hausaufgaben finde ich ein bißchen schwierig.	Yes, especially the homework I find it a little bit difficult.
Maria:	Die Hausaufgaben? Ich finde sie sehr einfach10! Wenn ihr Hilfe braucht, könnt ihr mich ja manchmal anrufen.	The homework? I find it very easy! If you need help, you can call me sometimes.
Michael:	Ach, wie nett11! Das klingt12 gut! Aber (schaut auf seine Uhr) es ist schon fast13 halb drei. Wir müssen sofort zum Deutschkurs. Sonst kommen wir zu spät14. Komm, Stefanie, ich trage deine Tasche. Sie ist so schwer.	Oh, how nice of you! But (looking at his watch) it’s almost half past two. We have to get to the German Course. Otherwise, we’ll be late. Come on, Stefanie, I carry your bag, it’s so heavy.
Stefanie:	Nein, danke, das geht schon. Ich trage sie selber.	No thanks, it’s alright. I carry it myself.
Maria:	Stefanie, du kannst mit dieser Tasche nur sehr langsam15 gehen. Wir werden uns verspäten. Ich habe ein Auto und kann fahren. Ich nehme euch gerne mit.	Stefanie, you can go very slowly with this bag. We’ll be late. I have a car and I can drive. I’ll take you with.
Michael:	Du nimmst uns mit? Klasse!!!	You will take us? Great!
Stefanie:	Ich möchte aber lieber zu Fuß gehen. Ich muss erst in meinem Zimmer mein Deutschbuch holen. Aber, Michael möchte mitfahren. Also, du kannst ihn mitnehmen.	But I would rather walk. I neet to get into my room to get my German book. But, Michael would like to go. So, you can take him.
Maria:	Dein Deutschbuch? Kein Problem. Wir fahren erst zu deinem Wohnheim16 und holen es ab. Ich nehme nicht nur Michael sondern auch dich mit.	Your German book? No problem. We’ll drive to your dorm and pick it up. I take not only Michael but also with you.
Stefanie:	Ok, alles klar. Vielen Dank, maria.	OK, everything is clear. Thank you, Maria.
